TLP is 11 years old in August. Photos from the journey:
In the early years I had the privilege of befriending the great Jim Keays and interviewing him for the magazine. He spoke of his early days with The Masters and his life since.
For the first edition I travelled to Melbourne for two face to face interviews. The first, in a restaurant in Fitzroy Street, was with football great Ron Barsssi. I told Ron that he reminded me of my father.
Again, from the early days, I picked up the phone for my first chat with Tim Page. We struck up an immediate friendship. Tim and his partner Marianne have been great contributors to the The Last Post magazine ever since. A friendship that has lasted a decade.
In 2018, when I had first relocated to Long Beach, I took Vespa for a ride to South Durras beach. On the way, I stopped at a paddock for a chat and pat with this delightful 27-year old horse.

About The Last Post

Launched in the Spring of 2011, this full-colour quality magazine is the re-birth of a much smaller version of the magazine produced by Publisher Greg T Ross’ father back in the 70’s and 80’s. Back then it was an almanac/directory for the country’s returned servicemen and women.
